A Clinical Business Tech Consultant 2 is required to be a team player. Provide daily application and interface support and be available to be on call after hours (24/7/365) as required. Lead multiple medium to large scale implementations of assigned system(s) with minimal guidance from Corporate Director, Manager and/or supervisor. Identify, research, evaluate enterprise applications and technologies to promote the tactical and strategic Information Technology initiatives throughout Baptist Health. Work with Clients, clinical staff, vendors, Database Analyst, System Engineer and the interface team to develop & identify requirements to integrate systems into the Baptist Health environment. Assist with application programming/ coding as part of the implementation process.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Science – BS and four years relevant experience or six years of equivalent experience required, RN experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated with the ability to learn new concepts and job requirements quickly. HL7 interface/ application & EMR/EHR integration. Vendor management & contract negotiations & risk mitigation. Healthcare Operations/ clinical work flows and process management. Budget management. Knowledge Management (KM) skills. Asset & inventory management skills. Programming/ coding used in Healthcare information system application configuration for example: Siemens OAS, OAS Gold, Soarian, CPA/CPM code building, rules Engine, Olie (On Line Interface Express) scripting, HL7/ DICOM, 837I / 837P. Information system implementation life cycle from system selection, system definition, unit testing, integration testing and live support. Network topology & system integration within a Healthcare setting desired. Project Leadership skills. Understanding of system support requirements. The ability to adapt to a dynamic enterprise healthcare environment. Project Management tools (i.e. MS Project, PlanView). Leading multiple medium to large scale projects. Supporting client applications. Facilitating, presenting and managing team meetings.
