Data Analyst II Healthcare Analytics | Full-Time | Remote Option Available
Our premier Healthcare partner is seeking an experienced Data Analyst II to support their strategic decision-making through performance measurement, financial and operational analytics, and the transformation of complex data into actionable insights. This role will serve as a key resource for providing critical business intelligence to leaders across the organization, supporting clinical, financial, and operational priorities. Must have experience with Oracle/Cerner CCL, proven experience with SQL;Snowflake, MS SQL. Know data visualization platforms (e.G., Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects). Experience with data pipeline tools;dbt, SSIS, or similar ETL frameworks.

Responsibilities
Translate raw data into meaningful insights that support clinical, financial, and operational goals across the health system.
Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks.
Provide thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert in analytics methodology, tools, and data strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver ad hoc and scheduled analytics reports.
Mentor team members on best practices in data visualization, interpretation, and modeling.
Drive innovation through evaluation and adoption of new tools, technologies, and data processes.
Support the design and execution of ETL procedures and data modeling in various database environments.
Participate in system implementations and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring analytics align with strategic priorities.
Stay current on healthcare data trends and emerging technologies, bringing back insights to enhance team performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and business intelligence, preferably within healthcare.
Strong SQL;Cerner CCL, Snowflake, and MS SQL Server
Understand data visualization platforms (e.G., Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects).
Experience with data pipeline tools such as dbt, SSIS, or similar ETL frameworks.
Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation, API integration (e.G., FHIR), and automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong mathematical and analytical foundation.
Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly.
Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to manage and interpret large datasets accurately.
Experience working with clinical information systems or ambulatory software is preferred
