Morgan Hunter Healthcare, a Healthcare IT Staffing and Consulting firm, is seeking a talented Clinical Applications Director to join our clients team. Primary responsibilities include assisting one of our valued clients in support of their Healthcare Information System project(s).

 

The Director of Clinical Applications is required to possess the following technical skills and expertise:

 
  • 3+ years experience in clinical applications support or equivalent required.
  • Understands pertinent regulatory guidelines such as Joint Commission, MQSA, HIPAA and ACR.
  •   Epic proficiency and current computer skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Demonstrated teaching, orientation and leadership abilities required.
  • Existing knowledge of the facility’ s clinical/operational processes, challenges and Epic environment
  • Customer service orientation and training experience preferred
  • Leadership skills to direct others and maintain a common vision for project objectives. Must be a motivator
  • The ability to communicate with staff at all levels of the practice, as well as with vendors and other outside agents. Must have an interdisciplinary focus
  • Effective organizational skills, good problem solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to delegate tasks and enlist the cooperation and/or assistance of team members and others
  • Ability to ensure operational efficiency, problem solve and make decisions, and exercise self-control and tolerate stress when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands from multiple customers
  • Ability to resolve conflicts among staff, work collaboratively with department director, physicians and other members of the healthcare team
