Clinical Analyst II Healthcare IT Opportunity | Full-Time | 100% REMOTE POSITION
Our leading healthcare partner is seeking a Clinical Analyst II to serve as a key resource in the analysis, development, and optimization of clinical applications. This position plays a central role in translating business and clinical needs into effective system solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle/Cerner experience with strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and experience supporting a wide variety of clinical applications within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
As part of a collaborative team, you’ll help guide project planning, system configuration, and end-user support—ensuring systems are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and superior patient care. Plan and control clinical system analysis and development for assigned area;serve as Project Leader on major projects;confer with and advise use departments;evaluate user requests and needs, estimate cost and time of implementation and recommend program methodology to be followed, assuring application compliance with established documentation standards;provide technical guidance and recommendations concerning existing computer programs and systems. The pay for this position is based on the clients geographic location.
Responsibilities:
Analyze operational workflows and translate business requirements into system solutions that improve efficiency and care delivery.
Develop flow charts of existing system & work process related to assigned clinical systems
Assist with the development of system objectives and comprehensive plans to organize work methodology.
Lead or co-lead assigned projects, managing timelines, resources, and communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
Serve as a subject matter expert in key clinical systems;assist with upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for complex application issues;rotate after-hours on-call support coverage as needed.
Collaborate with clinical departments to evaluate user requests, identify workflow improvements, and implement system changes.
Define and execute testing protocols for new system features, integrations, and updates.
Document system design, configuration, and support processes to support consistent practices and knowledge sharing.
Support application help desk functions and assist in training efforts for system users.
Seek continuous improvement opportunities by identifying redundancies and streamlining clinical workflows and communication.
Help staff the application 1st tier help desk call rotation as a member 7 days (Monday through Sunday) from 5pm to 7am weekdays and 24x7 after hours.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or extensive clinical application expertise.
5+ years of experience in a healthcare IT or clinical application analyst role.
Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting EHR and related clinical systems (e.G., PowerChart, RadNet, SurgiNet).
Experience and strong understanding of clinical workflows and system configuration within a hospital or healthcare setting.
Ability to analyze user needs, propose system solutions, and effectively communicate changes to both technical and clinical teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Experience with application support ticketing systems and documentation best practices.
Desire to improve systems and workflows beyond the status quo, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
