<br><strong>System Support & Configuration</strong><br>
<ul>
<li>Provide advanced support for Cerner Charge Services, Revenue Cycle charge capture, and related GL workflows.</li>
<li>Configure, test, and maintain Charge Master, charge routing logic, charge events, and rules within Cerner Millennium.</li>
<li>Support integration points between Cerner and financial/GL systems (e.G., Lawson, Workday, Oracle, Infor).</li>
<li>Troubleshoot charge processing issues, failed transactions, interface errors, and reconciliation discrepancies.</li>
</ul>
<br><strong>Operational & Workflow Support</strong><br>
<ul>
<li>Understand and work with Revenue Integrity and clinical departments to improve charge capture accuracy and completeness.</li>
<li>Analyze charge data, trends, and exceptions to support financial performance and regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Assist Finance teams with GL reconciliation, charge posting validation, and revenue cycle reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Support end usersâincluding analysts, billing teams, and clinical staffâwith training, documentation, and workflow guidance.</li>
</ul>
<br><strong>Project & Enhancement Management</strong><br>
<ul>
<li>Lead or support IT and operational projects focused on charge improvement, automation, regulatory updates, and optimization of Cerner Revenue Cycle modules.</li>
<li>Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles to ensure operational readiness and system stability.</li>
<li>Work closely with vendors and internal IT teams on enhancements, issue resolution, and change management.</li>
<li>Ensure charge workflows adhere to compliance requirements including CMS, payer guidelines, and organizational policies.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation for system configurations, workflows, charge logic, and support procedures.</li>
</ul>
<br><strong>Required</strong><br>
<ul>
<li>5-7+ years experience in Cerner Revenue Cycle, Charge Services, or related healthcare IT application support.</li>
<li>Extensive hands-on experience and understanding of charge capture processes, hospital/ambulatory billing, and revenue cycle operations.</li>
<li>Experience with GL posting workflows and integration between clinical and financial systems.</li>
<li>Proven troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Understand Soarian, work with Soarian in the past</li>
<li>Experience with financial or ERP systems such as Lawson, Infor, Workday, or Oracle.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Revenue Integrity, Charge Master management, charge reconciliation, and downstream billing systems.</li>
<li>Exposure to eligibility, patient engagement, or scheduling modules is a plus.</li>
<li>Healthcare IT certifications (Cerner Revenue Cycle, CHC, HFMA, etc.) are beneficial.</li>

This position plays a central role in translating business and clinical needs into effective system solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle/Cerner experience with strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and experience supporting a wide variety of clinical applications within a fast-paced healthcare environment.<br>
<br>As part of a collaborative team, youâll help guide project planning, system configuration, and end-user supportâensuring systems are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and superior patient care. Plan and control clinical system analysis and development for assigned area;serve as Project Leader on major projects;confer with and advise use departments;evaluate user requests and needs, estimate cost and time of implementation and recommend program methodology to be followed, assuring application compliance with established documentation standards;provide technical guidance and recommendations concerning existing computer programs and systems. The pay for this position is based on the clients geographic location.<br>
<br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br>

<li>Analyze operational workflows and translate business requirements into system solutions that improve efficiency and care delivery.</li>
<li>Develop flow charts of existing system & work process related to assigned clinical systems</li>
<li>Assist with the development of system objectives and comprehensive plans to organize work methodology.</li>
<li>Lead or co-lead assigned projects, managing timelines, resources, and communication between stakeholders and technical teams.</li>
<li>Serve as a subject matter expert in key clinical systems;assist with upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.</li>
<li>Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for complex application issues;rotate after-hours on-call support coverage as needed.</li>

<li>Help staff the application 1st tier help desk call rotation as a member 7 days (Monday through Sunday) from 5pm to 7am weekdays and 24x7 after hours.</li>

<br><strong>Requirements</strong><br>

<li>Bachelorâs degree in a related field or extensive clinical application expertise.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in a healthcare IT or clinical application analyst role.</li>
<li>Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting EHR and related clinical systems (e.G., PowerChart, RadNet, SurgiNet).</li>
<li>Experience and strong understanding of clinical workflows and system configuration within a hospital or healthcare setting.</li>

This is a Direct Hire Soarian Financials position for a SME with expertise in managing Claims, Remits, Denials, GL;doing builds including CRDT, building rules, expressions. Pay rate for this remote position is based on the client's geographic region. <br>
<br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>

<li>Must have experience in managing, building and working with Soarian Financials Master files </li>
<li> Requires extensive configuration experience with encounter provider master files experience, understanding encounter locations, and being able to accommodate charge rules.</li>
